Comfort Trade, from payment to coins
What happens after you press Checkout, what the seller needs from you and how long it takes: within 2 hours once the details are in.
The route of an order
Order statuses are shown in English on the checkout, exactly as below.
New Order
Payment received
Payment is in and the order waits for delivery. Open it and add your EA account e-mail and backup codes under the delivery details.
In progress
Delivery running
A seller works on the order and you see a progress bar. Stay reachable in the order chat in case a code fails or a question comes up.
Completed
Coins in the club
First the order shows “awaiting your confirmation”: check the balance and say in the chat if something is missing. Then support closes it.
What you send, and why
With Comfort Trade, a seller logs in to your Ultimate Team club and moves the coins in. For that the checkout asks, after payment, for the e-mail address of your EA account and backup codes from its security settings. Each backup code works a single time, and a sign-in from a new device uses one, so sending three or four saves waiting.
Backup codes exist only once two-factor verification is on. EA lets you get the verification code by e-mail, by an authenticator app or by text message, and recommends two-factor even if you use passkeys. EA’s own advice is never to share sign-in details or codes with anyone; Comfort Trade works against that advice, and comfort trades appear by name in EA’s rules. The help center has the full picture.
The seller does not see what you paid. Every message goes through the order chat on the checkout, which hides contact details and links. If anyone offers you a deal outside it, decline and tell support.
Before and after the delivery
Before you pay
Switch on two-factor verification, write down fresh backup codes and make sure an FC 27 club exists on the platform you are buying for.
Right after paying
Look for the confirmation page and the e-mail with your order number. Then add the delivery details to the order.
While it runs
Keep the order chat open. A used-up code or a wrong e-mail is the usual reason for a pause.
When it is done
Check the coin balance in your club. Problems with a delivered order can be raised within 21 days of payment.
Delivery questions
Where do I find backup codes in my EA account?
Sign in to your EA account, open the security settings and switch on two-factor verification by e-mail, authenticator app or text message. After that, choose to view your backup codes and write them down. EA treats them as the emergency route into your account from an unfamiliar device, so keep a copy for yourself as well.
What if I entered a wrong code or e-mail?
Details sent with an order cannot be edited afterwards. Open the live chat on the checkout, give your order number and say what went wrong; support will tell you how to pass on the correct details. The same applies when every code you sent has already been used: the seller needs a fresh one before going on.
Will the checkout ask me to create an account?
For coin orders, yes. If the e-mail you enter at payment has no account yet, the checkout opens one and mails you the sign-in details; if one exists already, sign in before paying. The account is where you enter the delivery details and follow the order in My Orders.
Is Player Auction available as well?
Right now, no. That method, where coins arrive through a card you list on the Transfer Market, is switched off at the checkout, so every order goes by Comfort Trade. We follow the checkout each morning and update this page if that changes, so what you read here matches what you will see.
